A rockin round 5 yielded another new script taking the top spot while some old favorites didn’t make the cut. So here we go, the results for Round 5 of ShortLived:

Now, as you may or may not know, “The Stand-In” is the piece PianoFight has been using a live audition, for someone we’ve never met, to kick off every show. There are some inherent problems with doing something like this, for example, sometimes people don’t show up (guy last Friday) and the other problem is when the piece gets voted off when we have auditioners already booked. So, what we’ve decided to do, in fairness to our pre-booked auditioners (and because we freaking LOVE doing this piece), is to keep “The Stand-In” in the line-up as a non voting piece. We will still add three new scripts for Round 6, and the lucky folk who make it out to The Off-Market will see 9 shorts instead of 8, so ... yay!
