.LOVE - World Premiere Musical

After striking a deal with creator Richard Jennings and hot-shot LA producer Matt Quinn, Piano Fight Productions will partner with C.A.F.E. to bring you a tale of Baby Boomers finding true love online - contrary to popular opinion, or at least my own, apparently old people CAN do email.

Jennings, an old guy (well not really, middle aged I guess), has more experience, training and awards than my beer addled brain can wrap its head around. Namely, he was a singer songwriter in the 60’s and 70’s (we all know what that means, wink wink), received a full ride for music composition and voice at the University of Michigan’s graduate program, has received multiple grants, taught music for University of San Diego AND San Diego State University, has composed for theater, television, and films, including PBS, Disney, and the Southwest Shakespeare Company (where he is still the resident composer) and received The Dramalogue Critics Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Theatre”.

Whew!

I am tired after just typing all that - he’s actually done all that stuff. Well, either way, Piano Fight is thrilled and honored to be working with such an accomplished old fart.

More info to come as the date moves closer, but expect some more iN PRODUCTiON episodes as well as a few other new extras.

.LOVE Premieres Friday, February 8, and runs every Friday and Saturday nights (with a special Valentines Day show) at 8:00 pm, in the Off Market Theater.
