“.LOVE” Gets Some Love

Contra Costa Times On dotLOVE

With yet another PianoFight world premiere gracing the stage at Off-Market, “.LOVE” gets its own love from Pat Craig in his ‘One Hand Clapping’ column:

"During the various showcases, our actors found their voice and the audience seemed to enjoy it. We became confident we had something worth marketing," says Jennings, who began writing the play when he was teaching at a college in Arizona. "So we had to switch over to the business part."

He met a producer who was willing to stage the show in San Francisco, a near-impossible feat, and is eager to see how audiences will react around Valentines' Day to the romantic story of love reblossoming in cyberspace.

Apparently, staging new work in San Francisco is a “near impossible feat” ... Not so says PianoFight! We couldn’t be happier to be producing this excellently written and wonderfully performed world premiere musical.

And in appreciation of Richard Jennings bringing us this great show and exceptional cast, we’re proud to present this talented baby boomer with a two year subscription to Publisher’s Clearing House, and a DVD box set of every season of ‘Matlock’.

Don’t miss the world premiere run (yes, we’re shameless) of “.LOVE” opening this Friday, Feb 8 at 8:00 pm, at the Off-Market Theater, 965 Mission St. between 5th and 6th streets.
